I noticed you use the sock method for your lines. I use the same method. I found it buried in a john holgate video. To any new kiters, that is the fastest most reliable method of line management. It takes all of the hassle out of going to fly your kite.

Sidenote-I thought the sock method was to roll up and then put a sock over it, not put a sock over it and roll up. Am I confused?

No, you put the sock on the handles first to create a pocket on the top and bottom of the handles to receive the lines. Then you wrap the lines in a figure eight pattern and finish with some rubber bands or hair bands. I leave the lines attached to the kite unlike the picture here. I put the bridle lines in the kite and fold the kite from each end on itself. Then I roll the handles and line into the folded kite making a "kite burrito". I will find the holgate video and post the link.

If you put your socks over the bar and lines
they get dirty faster and you won't have a
clean pair to wear home after a session.:D:

As for the sock method I usually leave the lines attached to the kite and kind of do what ssayre does with the “kite burrito”. I only disconnected them to take the pictures and pack the kite up. If I get some free time in the next day or so I will wrap the lines up on the holders if not whoever becomes the new owner of this awesome kite might also get my old sock

Sorry Scott, I forgot to wash it after wearing it!
And actually the sock is not meant to ease line management.
It keeps your handles nice and warm after use!
