New kite curse!

Of course as soon as I get my crispy, new nylon smelling, flown 4-5 times, 12m PL Charger 2 the curse strikes. The forecast here in Chicago at the beach I ride is seeing winds 20+(which is probably totally safe) BUT it is stormy wind, meaning 35mph+ gusts. I want to fly so bad but I definitely do not have a death wish. What a shame.

Yeah, that must be so tempting!

The wind up here in Michigan has been strong but really really crappy gusty lately.

Almost got yarded the other day in a gust during launch... Not cool.

Yep. It is staying in the bag for now, sadly. You guys are probably getting the same stuff we are. I am on the west side of the lake, so this west wind gets chopped up by the tall buildings of the city even worse. I can static fly stuff, but when I try to buggy the holes just luff the kite constantly and make it nearly impossible.

It's been extremely windy here also the past couple days. Especially yesterday, wow! You have the "west side" syndrome like I do, wish I had five dollars for every time I said I lived on the wrong side of the lake.
