Goose Poop Park

The geese have arrived at Garry Point. 20 knots NW wind, 3m Toxic
and my landboard. Got a few good passes but had to end my session
due to unsanitary conditions :(

Gets like that around here, but with the Canadian geese. They're nothing but grass eating poop machines!:evil:

Thanks for the offer Bladerunner. I'm ok without snowkiting for now. Do you know when the poop machines leave?

Cheddarhead, I've had seagulls do their business on my kite too :(

Snowspider, the park that I ride in is accessible by public transit. Most of them smelled my passion for the sport on the way home :D

By the time the poop machine departs the lake will be filled and you will only be able to kite on the higher ground. There won't be good kiting until mid March.

Wow, I might not complain about my 3 months off in the summer heat. Nothing poops at Ivanpah as far as I can tell.

When the pond freezes and weather permits it is very crowded .
If there is snow all is good and we can ride the rest of the park.

Are you interested in the 3.5 hour drive required to ride Mamette and Tunkwa lakes? They should be ready to go very soon !

Lake is was starting to form when I was GP on Sunday. There were five to six goose "cores" per sqft. Using 4" barrow tires that would mean about 1000 goose cores tossed at you by your front wheel per tack across the park, or about 30,000 turds per hour. I can see why you went home.

Yep We're on for the 3.5 hr drive to snowkite paradise! I presume January till its thick enough to be safe?
I was just at GP yesterday, surprisingly dry short dormant grass. But yes, poop caked footwear, wheels, board. Of course, inevitable stains on kite. At least I see the doggie owners still picking up!

COOL!

They are high and freeze early . We can be sure to be able to go their by Christmas even if Green Lake hasn't frozen yet.

I am off on vacation for a week . If it freezes while I'm away I will be chomping at the bit to go mid December.
