I was trying to do research on a good place to snowkite in oregon. Does anyone know ( I know this is a long shot) if Trillium Lake near Mt. Hood freezes hard enough to snowkite on?

I know that on cold years people ice fish in the pass lakes. Odell, suttle, clear lake...i would assume that if the ice can support a fisherman, it could you. also higher areas like newberry crater, or crater lake I know have big open snowfields.
