Flow Freeballer Binding

Remember reading that removing the highback from your bindings gives you a more unrestricted feeling for snowkite?

Stumbled across these the other day.

They look like a great option.

Anybody tried them?

Haven't tried them, but looked at a video on youtube from flow. They didn't say much, just that they have a "skate" feel to them. I'm in the market for some new bindings, so I'm also very curious about how these would work.

Another company that makes backless bindings:

I haven't tried that style yet either but when I was using step-ins I found that if I loosened my laces on my boots... my feet got warmer, my quads stopped the "burn", it was easier on the knees, my calfs stopped hurting. I could ride longer in comfort.

I could not replace my step-in boots once they wore out :( (those were the best system ever!!!). I went with standard boots and bindings. I was thinking of chopping off the top of the backs, but this setup sucks with LEI's compared to flying ARC's (so easy to get into any kind of bindings when flying ARC's! :D ). I may have to explore this style of binding this winter too??
