It has been about two months since I've been buggying. That part of our field not covered with ice is covered in goose poop. We should be back at it
in a three months or so. I miss buggying.

It hasn't been two months but it feels like it. Days are just too short( hard to get the tide/wind combo), the lakes are not frozen yet and there is
no snow.
If you know of anybody with a pair 4E 10.5 ski boots they want to give away I would love them. It would be cheaper for me to build a sit ski than to
buy new boots.

Hi Scudley. I've got some skis you can borrow if you find boots.
Bladerunner, any dates set for Tunkawa? Im avail after 26th.
Whats winds like there? wondering what size kites to bring.

I also have a set of super short X-rental skis with a quick set binding system . So I can fit them to anybody's boot in minutes.
Over all. Mamette is typically very windy, if windy at all. Therefore it is often icy so sharp edges are an advantage. Tunkwa is only about 10 minutes
up the road . It usually holds snow and obviously has less winds. They are close enough that you can choose on the day.
It is a long-ish drive. We have tended to go out on a given date and if the #1 ( for me ) issue of road conditions allows me us to go , we go and take
our chances. # 2 ( for me ) it is not tooooo cold. This method leaves us skunked all too often but ... ? Even just getting out there and enjoying the
place is better than sitting home and wondering .
Take every sized kite possible. Also a lawn chair. More than once we have hung out all day and then got an hour around sunset .
I had a very fun day at Mamette last year . Icy with long sharp skis and the 18m Phantom. So smooth that I am sure I was flying big lengths of time
completely on apparent wind between the few low wind puffs.
