24M Peter Lynn Synergy - SOLD

I need to part with some kites to purchase more toys. Starting with one of my favorites. The 24M Synergy flown by Chris Krug to win the Mille Lacs kite crossing. $500 plus shipping kite only. Pictures for interested people only. Planning on moving more in my quiver to afford my new toy. If you see any you like in my signature, contact me. They may be posted soon.

No this isn't Big Blu, but it is one hell of a sweet kite. I can't believe you're selling it.

I'm having a hard time resisting this one. It would be the ultimate light wind machine and this is a cheap way to get so much ripstop in the air on those lightest wind days. I don't need it now but these opportunities don't come along so often.

Bobby, when you say light wind, what are we talking here? What kind of wind range?

Based on holding down 18m Phantoms and 19m Venoms and Synergys, I could buggy with and control them up to about 12-15 mph. On water, they top out for me 20-22. I'm guessing you could buggy with the 24 up to 8-9 mph, but maybe more. On water, I bet most heavy guys are topped out with the 24 at 15-16 mph. Add 50% more wind if you are on skis on ice or snow. I'm getting used to the kites/winds the ice kiting guys talk about, but that edge holding and ability to stop don't apply so much to the buggy or landboard.

I imagine this 24 would fly in wind you can barely feel blowing, like down to 3 mph if you can keep moving. In appropriate winds, you could hot launch dead downwind.

I have a 24 Synergy. The best way to explain it is it is an 18m Synergy for really big people. The increase in mateial increased the weight. The 24m phanny II is lighter than the 24m Synergy buy quite a bit, about 1/5 less.
No way in heck would I take the Synergy out of its bag while at Ivanpah or any other dry lake bed. Snow, grass is OK, but would have to think twice about the beach. Clean and lots of room along with 8 to 15mph wind would temp me at the beach with my buggy.
Todd would be the best person to answer any questions about the 24 Synergy, as he had one and buggied quite a bit with it.

V2 8m top end is whatever your skillset will allow. 8m Rocks in the 45+ range depending on surface.

That 24m Syn is a beast. Got the job done when the large light wind LEIS were falling out of the sky. She's a monster and a killer kite in light winds. Maybe better low end than the 24m Phantom 2 but the Phantom 2 beats the Syn in upwind performance.

That's one hansom lad in that pic.:D

I would have liked to have the 24m Syn and Ph2 in a side by side comparison.:(

I will let him know the next time I go to the beach:lol:
