It sounds like you are saying the kite is overflying the window?
It sounds like you have the trim strap pulled all the way in. This helped with low wind but I suspect you needed to open it up a bit in the stronger
wind.
If opening the strap isn't enough try moving the back lines up on the leader a bit to shorten them. You want to be able to stall the kite on the back
lines with the bar pulled in and have them loose with the bar pushed out. Too short and the kite won't fly to zenith well.
If you get the kite set up to react that way and the kite still wants to overfly you can prevent it by pulling in the bar before the kite reaches the
edge or turning the kite a bit before the edge. In both cases slowing the forward speed of the kite as it gets to the edge.
Getting the hang of when to push the bar out or pull it in is tricky. I push the bar out to the middle or more to let the kite fly on front lines. I
pull the bar in to give added brake input as I turn the kite. Pull the bar in too long and you stall all speed in the kite.
