Wifes Maiden flight, YAY!!!
Great day of flying on Superbowl Saturday at Fort Casey Whidbey Island Seattle WA.
I had 3 kites all laid out like a buffet to choose from!
Brought a big BIG smile to my face, that this was my Wife's Maiden voyage with her new Beamer 3.0, she jumped right on board and even got some good
reverse launches too!
Then I offered her a try at the 6.8 ViperS.......and she flew it for 2-3 minutes getting a feel for it.......I'm VERY proud of her as she didn't
flinch, (though slightly intimidated) and said she'd try it again on another light wind day!!!
I am blessed to have her, also as a scuba buddy too!
A gorgeous Seattle spring time sunny day.

Actually Jeff, yes I am an honorary named and Knighted King, of a Fijian village where I've done some donations and work at their Bure' homes.
Here's the resort we stayed at, Beqa Lagoon Fiji, quaint little place called Kulu Bay,
I've been there twice.
The village next to them serves some awesome Kava that makes your Tongue and Brain numb.........
While there I donated about $700 cash, gave them used Eye Glasses (gold to them) Neosporin and Band-Aid stuff, volt meter DMM (platinum for them),
and yeah balloons and balsa wood gliders and sticker books for the kids new school building.
good memories.
Yes, King Davita, I was the talk of the village with cash in pocket and other gifts. Good Karma pays forward.

fwiw- it's a bit impolite to anyone else in the area if you leave kites staked down and lines run out like that, it's no problem when you're the only
kiter around, but if there's anybody else trying to use the same space it gets troublesome.
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

The large parade field on the edge of the road north of the bunkers looks like the ideal spot to buggy, is PRIVATE PROPERTY.
Do not even think of stepping on the grass let alone kite, buggy, or spread out a blanket for a little picnic. The yellow house guard will eat you up
and spit you out while giving you a ticket for trespassing. Not that I would know.

Good to know Jeff, but I live for danger!
You sure the Guard just didn't like your semi-automatic high capacity clip assault Quiver?

I saw a kid out in the field flying an RC plane, and I pulled over on the edge of the road to talk to him. While standing there talking with the young
man this woman come out of the house running across the field and chewing us out and yelling and screamingat the young man saying something to the
effect that it was private property and he did not have permission to be on the field. As she was yelling at the young man I walking back to my truck
to leave and she wrote down my license number as I left.
I received a phone call from I believe it was the University of Puget Sound, or some other school, telling me that it was their property and that next
time I need to contact them directly or face criminal prosecution, after explaining that I was only there to talk to the young man flying the RC
planethey continued with their same song and dance of no you can't use the property no I didn't have permission and no no no.
