The big light ........ Should be a nuke taking out much of South Australia as its mostly desert, But no it's just the sun, ( although it's a nuke in
itself)
This was taken at Kingston S.E, there's the beach which unfortunately the wind blew straight down most of the time, then there's the closeby claypan
which is a shallow lake during winter, and due to some late wet weather was sticky in parts, although the bigfoots ran over it just fine. amazing
though how gusty wind becomes just a little bit away from the beach ( 1 km)
I know you like the tube kites, and there making a bit of ingress here because of their depower range, it's slow but w'ere starting to take an
interest in them, although rob put new lines on his and due to their diffent length than previosly he promptly slammed it into the ground and blew the
tube.

I wouldn't fly anything else but tubes. It's personal preference but I think they're made for buggying. :D
Kitesurfing is huge and there's big bucks involved, we benefit from all that future R&D. The older LEI's were fun but slow.
The newer kites have much better range, safety and performance and with their rigid structure can be safely launched in very big winds.
I hope it catches on down there. The amount people riding tubes with bugs in the UK can probably be counted on one hand unfortunately. I only asked
about the big light because I've forgotten what the Sun looks like after a full month of rain here.
Keep the vids coming.

Thanks for looking
Joel is the one without a helmet and the 8m toxic, when I'm using it I've got a helmet on, Joel just wanted to give it a quick run ( not shown on the
video) to see how it turned, he liked it but said..... It's not a race kite. He's not scared of a bit of speed on the same day he was using a deluxe
12 m speed 3, which was quicker than the toxic, well upwind anyway, as he went zipping by.
The 8 m toxic is a lovely kite in 5-9 knots of wind, I'm rather fond of the toxics, I've also got the 6.5,5 and the 4 ..... just park n ride
