Custom kite buggy

Hi All,

I have a beautiful custom made buggy for sale.
This buggy was made for me by a good friend in Canada.
I would describe it as a copy of a Libre Buggy.
A stainless steel tube frame with aluminum ultralight 2 piece wheels.
The frame breaks down into 7 pieces and reluctantly fits in a large
snowboard bag not including the wheels, or seat.
The only part of this buggy that is not perfect is the seat.
It's well made and functions as designed, but the stitching is not pretty.
The builder is a fantastic welder, but not a seamstress.
Upwards of $900.00 invested in this buggy.
I will entertain reasonable offers.

Buggy is located near Asbury Park NJ 07712

I would prefer to sell it local since shipping may be expensive

Cheers,

Mike G

Hey that's one of the buggies Jim built - modeled after my Cameleon frame but all imperial sizes easy to get as opposed to metric. He did a great job on the buggy - yes the seats were his first attempt using a fast industrial machine and it has some "creative" stitching - usually you pay more for that :-)

The nice thing is that the side rails can be mounted set high (like in your photos) if you need clearance over crap ground, or flip the axle and set the rails low if you have a nice smooth beach.
Nice two piece rims as well.

This is a nice big buggy and would run great at Wildwood - the wildwood Buggy Bash gathering is the end of April and there are quite a few guys in the area.

Mark

PS- just spoke to Jim, he says if you sell the buggy, use the money to come and visit him

 That's a really nice looking buggy. I would think that if you could bring it to Wildwood during the bash, it might sell easily. At the very least, you could get some sweet rides on that beach! Good luck!

I had a difficult time finding land access..
Used it a dozen times at the Wolf Hill recreation area Long Branch,
and once I poached Monmouth Park race track parking lot.
Jim and I drove to Wildwood once only to find no wind.
I'm not much for travelling 2 hours to be disappointed.
It's so much easier for me to leave work (a 1 mile commute west of my house)
grab my kites, go to Asbury Park (1 mile east) and kiteboard
I might consider driving to Wildwood to sell it or drop it off
