board set up death wobbles

i ride a scrub predator with channel trucks (i think they are non adjustable) and im wondering if i can stop the high speed death wobbles whilst still keeping it manoeuvrable. It looks like on the board there are three holes for the springs, by moving it to the outer holes will i get a more stable ride but have to push harder for the turns? would changing the eggs for a harder set improve the stability? .... I kind of guess these things will work but wouldn't mind some feed back from more experienced folk before i started to alter stuff.

cheers

Lean back against the kite and the board will stop wobbling. It only wobbles if you stand right over it straight up. Lean back and slide it a bit if you start to wobble. Stiffer eggs can help but they will increase your turn ratio. Leaning back is the key.

Mood: chilled....but ready to SAIL!

the trucked design is prone to it. forward weighting over the front truck is effective. you can add speed, but point of sail becomes almost non negotiable , so control is lost to stability . leaning back works for bailing out to regain control very well....so some skill is needed to powerslide at speed and recover control to get beyond the wobbles

tightening the trucks will reduce boards friendly nimbleness and wear out parts quickly. and only raise the start of wobble speed

flexboardz don't have this wobble issue by design. hope it helped

Mood: Where's the water?

+ 1 for the Flexboardz

Pick your poison... you want speed or jumping?

I have an MBS Comp with eggs, ended up going back to stock (yellow) eggs after trying the red/orange. It still wobbles at speed...but the Flexboard is LOCKED IN...SMOOTH...

If I ever get a landboard and if I was crazy enough to go that fast, the flexboardz looks like the right tool for the job. Good video crazyherb. What type or model of flexboardz is the best to get or all they all good?
