Hi, my name is Polo I am from Chicago, IL but have a place in Pompano, Fl on the water. I have experience with just about every hobby kite except the traction area. I fly several stunt 9ft quads and anyone who knows these are some fast powerfull kites. I know these aren't even close to the power that you guys are experiencing but that is why I want to get into Kitesurfing. I live close enough to watch the guys from the kite school over on N Ocean and it is teasing the crap out of me, lol. I try to ask questions but most of the people there seem to be either too stuck on themselves or just too busy period. I am in my middle 30's going through that "trying all types of hobbies to keep me out of trouble thing" or my wife will beat my @ss, lmfao. Some of my more expensive hobbies has been R/C boats, helicopters, planes and car stereos. I keep buying these little sissy stunt kites now I want a real "drag my @ss and give me a rash" type of a kite. Don't get me wrong, safety is always first and in Feb I will take a class or two but I want to train on my own equipment and this is where you guys come in. I am 5' 10. 200lbs and in good shape, I deliver refrigerators for a living. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if there is anything I can help anyone with in my above past hobbies, hit me up and I will see if I can help you.
