New PB!
Today was the first day out on the beach at JIBE. We had a great group of riders tearing up the beach... Until it rained
Fortunately A. the storm blew over in about 20 minutes and B. the beach goers cleared out leaving it WIDE open and free for the JIBE attendees to run
from buggy camp to the south water tower and all the way back north as far as possible.
So long and short, today I beat my old PB of 22.8 mph first by hitting 24.1 mph then knocking it up harder to 26.6 mph.
In all, not only was it an absolutely great day for JIBE, it was hands down the best day I've had on Jekyll Island ever.
I'm going to take a nap now

Well I'm sorry I don't believe you. More proof needed. Did you zero the GPS before heading out? :P
It's a great feeling to beat your PB. You're grinning like a smiley. :D Well done soliver.

4m appeared to the FB of choice of the day... Ted (4.4m RII), Jason (4m Flow), & myself (4m Core) all had our 4m range kites out... I also saw
someone flying a 4m Toxic, but I didn't recognize him.
All the depow guys had stuff out 10-15m. It was really an absolutely awesome day.

Yes that mini squall hit at 1 pm Wednesday and was done by 1:40 and it successfully cleared the beach (and rinsed our kites). After that we were
locked and loaded and I have to say I have not seen that much ripstop in the air on Jekyll at once in along time. Thanks to all.
