SOLD: Flysurfer Pulse 7

I bought this from Thansson here on PKF thinking that it would become a high-wind kite for me, but I rarely get to fly in those situations.

There is one tear that appears to have been professionally repaired. It appears that the 2nd right blow-out valve had an issue on the bottom half. The repair is so well done that the Thansson didn't even notice it.

The wear lines and pulleys have been replaced and are in good shape.

The main lines are faded, but appear to have enough life in them for another season or two.

The bag is (strangely enough) in very good condition. There is no corrosion on the zippers and it appears to me that it was never taken to the beach to sit in the salty sand or air.

The kite is dirty and does need a good washing.

Since I don't buggy or landboard, this kite is just sitting on my shelf looking for an owner that will take her out for some flying.

It is very similar to the Pulse 10m that I bought from TriDude with a different wingspan and color scheme.

I'll sell this for $325 shipped via UPS to any of the 48 states.

If you are ever thinking about getting into depower, I promise you won't regret buying this kite ! It flies very early and turns so fast that you can work power out of it at about 9 - 10mph.

I will never sell mine. It has become an extension of myself and has never caused me an issue.

How old is this kite?

Yes,
I have used it on the dry lake in that wind since you need to be prepared for gusts. It needs to be spanked around and looped but has amazing bottom end.

I have gotten going at Garry point. Dry hard grass surface in just a bit more wind. ( I am small and light )

Jadog, I think the Pulse is from 2006 ?

As tempting as it is at that price, I believe my standard wind conditions require a little bigger sail.

I think that Bladerunner might be correct. It's from somewhere around this time. I know that the Pulse 10 that I had was a very good flyer, but I needed something a little larger for my drag (ahem, "weight range").

Actually, I shouldn't have sold that 10m Pulse, either!

i will be selling my pulse 10.. its in fantastic condition...

IMO the pulse is much like the phantoms..........you have to fly/own one to appreciate its characteristics........great in the buggy and on the water...........easy relaunch from land or liquid.........10 mph bottom end for a buggy, 13/14 mph for water........
