3.5m LEI would be considered a tiny kite . Too small to get you moving on water in anything less than storm winds. 6m is an odd size ? 7m LEI is
considered a small / high wind kite for small people. Trying to get up on a board or body drag upwind in moderate wind is nothing less than
frustrating with a small kite. I know this because I struggled with one myself.
Pansh closed cell foils don't come with a bar and trying to tune a bar to them is a PIA . Again,, I know because I have struggled to do so myself with
the Aurora.
You will also need a harness to body drag upwind.
Not trying to bum you out but to save you from some of the frustrations I have been through by trying to go too small and too cheap. Doing so only
slowed my progress.
You can fly your alpha on water. You just won't be able to re-launch it if you crash. Take a mesh bag along and practice " self rescue " if you do.
Then take it back to the beach and start again.
Never go out farther than you are willing to swim in EVER !
