Spreader bar trade?
Hey gang,
I've got a PL Bullet spreader I bought from Big Mike last Christmas that I've only used once flying static, however, I just bought my first Depow, and
am hoping someone might be interested in trading it for a standard hook spreader?
I'm going to take a nap now

Hey Spencer
The one thing you may consider is having both bars. A standard hook bar is cheap and because I fly kites that need a hook and then those with handles
I need the roller and I have a second harness pad that I keep a bar attached to. Then (depending on what harness you have) I just swap pads with bars
attached and it's easier just removing the webbing from bar end and threading through the new bar end with pad already attached. A second pad is also
cheap

Thanks for the input mark, but I've already got a wichard QR and pulley set up for flying with a strop. I bought the Bullet spreader to try out to see
if I liked it better than the captive system and unfortunately I do not, so in lieu of just buying a hook-bar I thought I'd see if anyone would trade.
I've considered buying a second pad, but kite expenses bring me the stink eye, so I'm trying to avoid extra cost.
I've considered just putting the chicken loop through the wichard or possibly a carabiner also through the link spreader I already have... thoughts?
