3 line bar

I'm looking for a 3 line bar such as the ones that come with the rush or hydra.

Thanks.

FWIW: If you don't get any responses, you might just consider getting a quad-line FB bar.

The only thing you would have to do is when connecting the single brake line from the kite, make sure the larkshead knot captures both pigtails coming from the pulley.

If you want to be CDO (like OCD, but alphabetically corrected), on some FB quadline bars, it's simple to swap out the pulley for a length of dyneema.

There have been a few quadline FB bars languishing in the For Sale section for a few months now.

There also a couple of NIB HQ Quadline FB bars from a liquidator in Ventura California being sold at clearance Buy It Now prices. He has 100% feedback and there's free shipping on the items. He currently has 2 20" bars and 2 24" bars available depending on the size of the 3-line wing you are trying to loft.

Generally speaking the quadline bars bars are a bit better appointed than their 3-line brethren with nicer padding/flocking. The HQ bars even include below the bar top-hat releases in case you have a truly epic "Oh Crap!?!" moment where releasing the wriststrap would be too slow.

Just a thought....

ATB,
Sam

Thanks Sam, the problem I'm facing with rigging my incoming nasa wings is there is just too many options. I could literally be able to use virtually any 2, 3, or 4 line control option available and there there is several different sub-variations beyond that. I will check that out but I was leaning towards a 3 line bar with harness loop with qr. the kite would be flown off 2 lines then when the qr is activated then the kite would fall on the 3rd depower line for full depower. There are ways I could achieve virtually the same thing with a 4 line bar as well.

Yes, that looks like it would work really well. I can get the 3 line bar from Germany for $150 American. That has some kite specific features which would be nice but not necessary. So, I was checking here first to see if there was something similar at a better price.

Thanks all, I ended up getting the 3 line bar from Born. Mainly because it is already set up with harness loop and qr stuff.
