hey yeo
forget it!!!! theres no place in new york to buggy.
you will get taken to jail!!!!! and your buggy taken away from you. i have buggied on new york
beaches a few years back and the cops can`t stand anybody having a good time on THEIR BEACH. its all about whos on duty for that day. one day its
fine to buggy on a beach. next day, difference cop. he throws you off. "but sir i was here yesterday buggying". " i don`t care what your were doing
yesterday not while i`m on duty now get the f$%K out of here before i throw you in jail and take away that thing your riding"!!!!!! leave your buggy
at home its not worth it!!!!

in us they don't know have fun???? cops are so special in us???when I wrote your post i have wanted to kill them! ;-) so how can you fly when you live
in NY? you have not a allowed beach not too far from NY?
I can swear that in france it's not like that, if you have a "licence" form your club/association you can practice everywhere, and if you have a
problem, that's YOUR problem, not that of cops or anybody else!!!! but I have to say that we try to go on very long beaches, where there are not so
much people, for exemple you have 10 or eventhow 25kilometer!!! so, france is not so bad :-)

Liberty state park, in New Jersey right accross from Manhattan and behind the Statue of Liberty (thank you France) is big enough. I do not know if
there are prohibitions there, though.
Next thought are the beaches of Long Island, but only off season when not crowded. I'm thinking Jones Beach State Park- nice long beaches and huge
parking lots.
I lived in NY City until a year ago. Only place I could think of inside city limits is the north Bronx, where there are some un-devloped areas with
fields.
I have flown traction kites on the Great Lawn of Central Park with no problem but I would not even think about the buggy there.
Enjoy NYC, the greatest city on Earth (and about the safest).

how can i fly or buggy in new york? i don`t anymore.
i wait until nabx to buggy. so the rest of the year my buggy and kites sit unused. i won`t risk going to jail beacuse some cop has a bug up his ass.
it happened to a friend of mine in cal. a beach he has been buggying on for 7yrs. then one day a new cop on the beat hands him a ticket. cost him over
2500$ to get a lawyer to beat the ticket.

$2500 - wow, I would just have paid the fine. It should not have been too much $$.

hey campell
liberty state park.
NOPE. i buggied there for years. then about 3yrs ago the park cops threw me off telling me its not allowed. even when i told them i was doing it there
for years. that was the last straw. i even asked the stunt kite flyers there to help me fight it. i just gave up trying to fight for my right to
buggy.

hey da
yea he should of paid a fine of 365$ and be done with it. but that would of meant him having a felony on his record.
the cop gave him a ticket for doing unsafe games on a beach and driving a vehicle on the beach.
