Wanted: Medium seat harness
So, for the first time since I've got into this sport I got some decent wind and now my arms are sore. I'm thinking a decent harness won't be a bad
idea.
Anyone have they don't need anymore?

I'm landboarding exclusively atm, but once it starts to snow I plan to take up snowkiting too. All of my kites are being flown on handles atm so I'd
be using them with a strop, though I'll probably end up getting some depowerable kites in the future.

All good....everything come in time...I fly handles while I ski and I have a blast....You should look for a harness that is more for standing then
sitting then...you'll get a 1000 suggestions on here but it will all boil down to your personal fit....it is like saying what is the best pair of
sneakers for running....
Are you going to the WildWood Buggy Bash?....if so I would wait as you will get to try some out before buying...maybe some demos will be there and
then make a decision. You can try out both of mine. (Dakine fusion & PL Divine).
That is the beauty of going....try first...then buy....
I'll let some others chime in, as I am not a land boarder or a expert on depower....

I wish I could go, but as an undergrad who's spent all his spending money on kites it's not really an option.
I was thinking a seat harness just because I hear waist harnesses usually have a problem with sliding up and I know that would end up bothering me. I
thought I'd read some nice things about the Dakine Fusion and they don't seem all that expensive new. In the meantime though if I just avoid being
overpowered like I was today getting a harness probably isn't really a pressing concern.
Edit: Looks like I was wrong about them not being too expensive new. A new one is definitely out of my price range atm.

If you're still in the market let me know and I have an old Dakine seat harness that got bundled with a kite (and I'm far too big to squeeze into). I
could probably do $50 shipped to you, with the spreader bar and a bar pad. It's not the greatest harness, but it's functional. I've had plenty of
friends use it who were starting to get into the sport. I'll post pictures and such tomorrow

Unfortunately I just got a harness two days ago. Paid ~$75 for a medium Dakine Fusion off ebay. Now I'm just stuck waiting for the wind to pick up
enough to try it out.

If your Dakine Fusion was from Ebay, and the same place in Florida, their town and kiteshop name rhymes with a large gaseous plant, not Saturn.
Off Ebay they sold me a defective Dakine Wahine harness, while new, The Leatherette was flaking and falling apart on the waist synch cummerbund
straps.
total obvious, Factory B stock or water damage somehow. New with tags on it though........so I don't know if their relabeling stuff or something.
sold as new.
Wife not happy.
Had to spend $15 to ship it back, at least they refunded paypal.
grrrrrrr.
If anyone has a large or xl females harness for sale, U2U me.

It was from Florida, but nowhere that rhymes with any gaseous planet. Thanks for the heads up though.
While I've never has a kite harness before, as far as I can tell everything seems to be in pretty good shape.
