Does anybody know of the best way to get a set of Kenda beach racers in the states? Or more specifically to the bay area? I would like four..

If I cant find anything else I will use buggy kite shop.

EuroTrax, Duros, and Nancos also in the 21x12x8 size. I wound up getting some Nanco's for beach use:

It will be a sad day if they ever stop making that size. The EuroTrax are unique and pricey. I seriously wonder about the supply and long term supply of the Nancos. The Duros/Kendas and very rare and hard to find.

Most of is kite shops can get them. Have you true Dakitez. Dino should be able to get them for you. If not I know we can.

I've got the Kenda Beach Racers and I'm not overly impressed with them. Much over 50kph they tend to wobble around a bit - they're not perfectly round by any means. I certainly wouldn't buy them again. I'd try some of the alternatives mentioned above - see whats available locally.

Absolute mongrels of things to get on and off the sysmic alloy rims.

Thank you Mr. President, but I am not bringing in tires anymore. The shipping and custom costs drive the price of the tires beyond most 21" truck tires The cost blows peoples mind and they think I'm getting rich when I can honestly make more selling a set of handles.

Most of the time if people put name brand aside they can find exactly what they want at their local tire shop for a fraction of the cost.

What John said about the BR tires is correct. Some of us use the balance beads to help with the high speeds.
Dino is right also about the cost. Most of the time its cheaper for the general public to order from a kite shop in Europe and pay the cost of shipping, duty, tariff, customs, and brokerage fees themselfs than complaining about the dealer who is ripping off the customer.
One thing about all tires that are sized 21x12-8, they are all different sizes. To be more precise, they are as different in size as 1 inch larger diameter to 1 inch difference in width when mounted on the same wheel.

Dino, I totally understand about the cost vs selling them. Ridiculous at best. Seems to be a very fast growing trend and not just with the tires.

The wobble usually happens on rims less than 8" wide, so for most of us all the time once you approach 40-45 mph or so, happened to me last bash, scared the bejesus outta me. I am going to try the balance beads in the tire thing, not sure it will help though with the kendas.

Going to call my buddy Jeff and get his opinion!

If the concern about tire wobble/bounce with the beach racers is a big deal to you, I would recommend going with the duro tires instead of the kenda.
not nearly the complaints with the duros at high speeds.

With respect to the above postings, this is what I have experienced.

I had vibrations on my Beach Racers until I got them mounted on the rims correctly.
I use 4 inch alloy rims to get more of a crown on the tire for sideways traction and they work excellent on sand and grass.
I put 15 to 18 psi in the tires, this make them hard and they roll up to speed quicker.
They are very good wearing, I have over 10 thousand miles on mine and the edges of the tires on the grooves are still very sharp and track superb at very high speeds. I have only gone 47 mph but the tires could easily go faster.

I might have got lucky...

Thanks for the info Chris, I use the 4" alloy rims as well but I only run about 8lbs of air or so if not a little less so that it runs smoother over the rough stuff.

I will have to try it out with a little more air and see what happens
