Me Givin' Beach cred to Power Foils, Oregon Coast Kite Festival.

Windy Heap Dave's idea of rest and relaxation while on the Oregon Coast.

Kite festivals, and Grand Adventures..............

...........may they never end.

The dark side Rev Crowd is very dominate in kiting,

the grass hopper foil force is strong in me though.

Yoda says good.........I introduced many people to the white side of Power Foil strength in the universe.

it IS sad, that for some reason foil kites are not promoted more.

not that one is right or wrong, it's cool to see Revs, Single lines, Custom sewing, ballet to music, Chinese fighting kites...........the whole family.

but still, I've yet to see foils mixed in, like we're the evil banjo picking mono brow step child of the wilderbush.

Sadly, I think that's a US thing.

Flexifoil is well represented at UK festivals.

Libre seems to do well in the EU

And the tourists and nearby residents of Push Kiting's home field constantly seem to get a good show.

Nice vids, all. I especially liked watching the Zebra's chase each other across the sky. I attended a kite festival in Oswego, NY, shortly after getting my first power kite, a 3.5M Ozone Imp trainer. I made a sign, looking to form a power kite club in northern NY. I had my buggy on display, though I didn't ride it that day, too crowded for my skill level. One of the organizer's, from NYKE (New York Kite Enthusiasts) came by and said, "Oh, you're one of those". I didn't get it then, still don't.

I think that's weird too. I emailed the kite club in our state about an event and what kites I had and they responded by saying that particular event was not a fun fly which I understood but they didn't make any invitations to be a part of any other upcoming fun flies which leads me to believe that they aren't that keen on power kites. I could have totally misunderstood, but that's kind of the impression I got.
