Once upon a time I ran across someone on here that had pics of a buggy with add ons to make it like a blowcart. Can someone shoot me some pics of the
parts I would need for this setup. Thanks..

Scott/ flyguy0101 has done that to his flex bug, shoot him a u2u and i'm sure he'll send you some pics. There was also another guy who did that on
here before my time who recently sold his flex-bug land yacht conversion, but not sure who that was.
I'm going to take a nap now

Bummer!!!
Well heres a pic of my Buggy with a sail setup. Went out today with the ice blades on and was having a pretty good time considering the low wind. Then
all of a sudden I felt something let loose and I thought i broke a blade. A blade would be an easy fix compared to what happened. Yep thats a pic of
the axle to seat bracket broken off. Bummer!!!. You guys ever seen this happen? I know theres alot of twist on the frame due to the sail bracket but I
figured it would tip me over before this would happen. Sucks!! Ice is perfect right now and never lasts long. Gotta get this fixed fast..

Broke right on the edge of the heat affected zone. Weakest part of any weld. Those guys use too much heat for thin wall stainless . They would never
get a job on the waterfront around here. Good luck on a fix mate.

really sorry to hear about the break- hopefully you can get it fixed quick, but while you are waiting could you please take a close up pic of your
mast attachment- i am looking to redo mine since i am continually bending the one i currently have. also i think you would get a lot more strength and
less torsion if you were to addsome kind of supports from the mast to the rear axle- think pyramid
thanks

a couple of years ago a friend also rigged up a sail on his buggy with an older style of sail set up. He sent me a couple of photos that i'll post. I
haven't seen him in a while but I'll ask if he's had any issues. i can see the sail putting a lot of toque on those thinner down tubes (and other
parts of the frame)

as I stated before..... I am the guy that made those parts. And yes you have to use bracing to the back axle. Or this is what happens.

here ya go flyguy
Pretty much a mixmatch of steel and sailboat pulleys. The 2" angle iron is a perfect sandwitch around the frame. I did put stick on rubber flashing
under the angle iron so it didnt scratch the tubing. u bolts to hold it all together. One of the side mounts for the mast is welded to one piece of
angle, opposite the other side. Just a peice of tubing bolted into the center sticks up about a foot. Theres a hollowed out hockey puck under the
yellow plastic disc for a little added height to keep the boom off my head.
