Awesome kite right there. If you could only have one bullet for a buggy engine, this is it.

The kite showed up and it was almost like new. I got to fly it a bit today before the wind picked up and it was a blast. After about 15 mins my arms were feeling like lead and the winds were getting up around 20 mph so I packed it up for another day. This power kiting thing can be addicting. Guess I'll have to start saving up for a buggy now.

A word of warning !

I owned a 4.5 Bullet and a friend had the 5.5. Both kites had a nasty habit of sending you down wind and then slamming you into the ground when trying to jump. Not every time but multiple times.

That said, I loved my 4.5 Bullet as an engine and it is the kite I learned to buggy + snowkite with.

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Glad you had fun Norsegod. I've never had one, but have always been tempted because of their unique shape and their popular reputation.

Cool, glad you like it, a bit more aggressive than the rage. I had a 5.5 roped to me with no release....Real bad idea! If you are by yourself learning, and buggy with a harness make sure you can always get away from your kite!!

I'll keep that in mind. This is my first larger kite and I don't have a buggy yet so I'm just learning to fly static right now. I'm using the kite killers but I don't have a harness. I've seen some of the youtube videos about powerkite accidents so I'm trying to get lots of practice in light winds before I try anything too crazy. But it's been a blast so far.

Thanks for all the advice so far.

Practice letting go and trusting the Kite Killers.. It should be the reflex you build instead of holding on for dear life. By the time you consciously think to let go, it might be too late.. . I really like my 4.5 Bullet and fly it static often..

Another minor issue I found with my Bullets is that the mesh on the intakes grab snow and then it can't get out. A bit frustrating when learning ( and crashing ) on snow.

It did not like being on a crossover bar at all.

The fact I felt so in tune with the 4.5 made any minor problem worth putting up with. I am not complaining about the kite. I loved mine. Just giving a heads upon it's quirks.
