Local Kite Club Members Wanted
The local university here in Duluth Minnesota has put together a awsome video staring me and some of my fellow kiters.
UMD runs a kite club through the out door recreation program for very little cost taught by certified instructors that do a great job!
Enjoy the clip

Looking good there! That's a pretty sharp looking kite too. I hope you have a great season.
I am hoping I might have a chance to get out this coming weekend. A few folks in town got in a session last Sunday. I didn't think there would be a
lake with thick enough ice within an hour drive of the cities but there was. To get out around here before Thanksgiving would be great.

It looks as though we are going to have another 6 month long season!
The ice is about 2 to 3 inches thick in the small lakes, the bigger lakes are still open. All we need is the wind to stop blowing for a day or so and
the rest of the lakes will freeze up.
