Nice hand change at 0:47. You have the skills to keep yourself from the mud, the blood and the beer.

That school is the only one I have found with that much open area. That is only 1 of 2 massive fields that surround the school. The only drawback is I can't use it through the week and the grass is very thick. I'm thinking they will eventually expand or build in one of the areas but I'm not sure.

I stumbled across it driving around for work and I almost drove off the road when I saw it.

Do you have any multiple field soccer complexes you can use?

Good stuff! You ever feel the urge to really cut loose, get yourself on over to WBB and let'r rip!

I love riding on grass fields, but I am obsessed with running in the hard pack!

I'd love to make it to all of the events. Wildwood and jibe are both 12 hours away and they both happen when I'm getting busy for work. I'll figure out a way to make it eventually.

ssayre, have you tried your Peak in the buggy yet? I was out in mine at the weekend. Wind was really light (5-7mph) but I was still able to buggy on the grass by looping the kite. I couldn't stay upwind most of the time, but during a few gusts I noticed it would go upwind *really* easily!

Yes, I have used the peak in the buggy. With my thick grass and my weight, I need more wind than what I had on Saturday. A sustained gust/wind always helps me go upwind no matter what kite I'm using. Power is the key to making it upwind more than the kite in inland gust/lull conditions. I was slightly underpowered at times on Saturday and I was slowly giving up ground with each tack. As soon as the wind picked up, I made up all the ground I had lost in one upwind tack. This has been the case with me no matter what kite I have ever used. I think the only time I would be able to tell the true difference in upwind ability between kites is if I was at the beach in some clean wind and hard pack sand.

Yeah, Sean... Inquiring minds want to know. Lets get a Rag Flapper Division of the JWC moving at JIBE... COME ON!!! Pretty sure Randy's probably gonna be there too.

I just have to get some rags to flap :D

Right now it's a maybe unfortunately. I'm still sorting out our schedule around that time. Also, not to get too deep, but I've been dealing with some anxiety issues that have turned into a fear of driving. I have never had any type of mental issues before and I don't know how this came about. I have no problem driving on the roads and interstates around the city and surrounding areas but have had a hard time on less familiar roads. I have driven all over the country in the past and know my fears are irrational. It's something I'll get over, but has me really humiliated at the moment.

Get there if you can, bud. I can talk Itay into leaving a seat empty in his car and we can swing by and pick you up on our way down south :) You might have to fly back though if you don't feel like staying the whole week. I plan on going down Friday evening before and not coming back till the following Sunday.

Thanks Errol. We've had a lot of expenses the last year and some big ones coming up with one going to college in the fall. It's making it hard to justify kite purchases and kite expeditions. It has felt like someone is holding me by the ankles upside down and shook until everything but the lint has fallen out of my pockets. :) I'll let you know.

It's a slow day at the office and it's windy. I'm going to go try streetkite buggy on gravel on shorties. Haven't done that yet and it's starting to weigh heavy on me. :D
