Can somebody let me have go in their buggy?
Is there anybody who can let me have a go in their buggy at IBX? I didn't realize that our family holiday road trip would coincide with IBX until all
the family plans had been made. I was only able to wrangle Sunday morning on the Playa.
I won't be able to bring my buggy or any of my stuff (flying from London) , but I'd love to at least have a short run.
Anybody? I don't care what kind of buggy, although a fixed bridle or an Access would be nice since that's what I'm used to flying.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the offers. I'll be sure to stop by and say hello to the Nor-Cal kiters.
Of course, I'm always open to loaning a buggy and kites to anyone who comes to England. I live about 4 hours drive from Bolton Le Sands (if that's
what BLS 2015 is) , 2 hours from Camber and 3 hours from Les Hemmes!
I'm off to register - see you guys there

Thanks Tom. I hear about all the different events at Ivanpah every year and always think I'd like to go but there's no way I can make the trip all
the way from England. This year we've planned a family holiday road trip around Las Vegas and I didn't even think of coming to IBX until I saw a post
that said "one month until IBX" and I thought "wait a minute, I'll be in Vegas for one day in about a month...." Unfortunately, the brutal itenerary
of family visits has already been planned, so I can only stop off on Sunday morning after driving from Barstow.
Whatever, a few hours is better than nothing.

Jimbo, which Sunday are you coming through? You are either a few days early or one day late. Ivanpah will be the same either way and Sunday the 29th
will have more people with the NALSA event wrapping up and early arrivals for the NABSA and IBX events showing up. Sunday the 5th will have very few
people around since all the events will be wrapped up and most will be on the road home. Hopefully we can get you a ride while you are there.

Early or late you can't drive by Ivanpah and not bother to drive out on the playa.
It would be impossible to get a full on taste of IBX in one morning. Folks usually come out late and ride the ( best ) sunset winds so morning are a
bit quiet. Just driving out there and getting a feel for the amazing location and surface is well worth the time.

The only time I can come is Sunday the 5th. That's OK, I'll show up and take it as it comes, I always knew the wind and weather was unlikely to be
perfect in the small window I've got.
Like Bladerunner says, I'm sure it will be worth it even if I just go there and see what it looks like, actually being able to buggy will be a bonus.
