Looking for 10M Line Extensions (set of 4)
Would like to buy a set of 10M line extensions. Found a pair on eBay for about $50 bucks, but then thought maybe someone on here had a set (of 4) they
would be interested in selling. I heard that every 3M is liking adding an extra meter to my kite and thought I could go a bit further on those lower
wind days. Let me know what you guys think!

I know Feyd (Chris Krug) sells line extension kits on his site. Might be worth checking out.

I made up a stack of 10 m ext line sets this winter - sewn sleeved ends (with loops on one end and loop with knot on other end), two red/two blue.
They would be 40.00 US but with mailing from Canada to US you might work out to the same cost buying local.
I also make them from Q-power reg and pro but the cost is higher.
If you are interested I could check mailing cost for you - just an option
By the way, it really depends on the day and wind conditions and also what kite you are flying. If there is a bit more wind up higher or looking for a
longer power stroke then yes extensions work but you need to be are that you could also be in a lot more power than you expect. Then in some kites
they don't respond as well with long extensions and line drag can reduce performance. We usually use them in light air with our largest kites
especially late spring/early summer surfing when temperature differences kill the low level wind at the beach with doming.

Thanks guys. Mark, are your lines made from Dyneema? Also wondering if they are pre-stretched?

These particular sets are the vector line that is distributed by Vlieger Op (that manufactures and distributes Peter Lynn) . It's dynema and says
minimal stretch but I found I still needed to pull and stretch the lines as I was cutting and measuring to make them ensure they were equal. It's 270
kg line. I found it really heavily saturated with dye and I had to pull the line through cloth multiple times to get as much residual dye off as
possible. Many new coloured lines will bleed some colour when wet or pulling them though your hand winding them the first few times. This line has
even more colour so I didn't want to have anyone getting colour bleed onto kites so I've cleaned the excess as much as possible to start with.
What kite do you want to use them with and is it for land boarding?
Do you normally kite in gusty winds or lighter wind?

I will be using for water and land - so probably all kinds of wind. But most of my kiting is in gusty inland wind. What do you think shipping would
set me back? At zip code 46714.

I'll go to the postal outlet tomorrow or the weekend - I was going to check what mailing costs are in Canada so I'll check for your zip and let you
know. Just gives you an option and something to compare to when doing your searching around.
