First kite for summer season

Hello to all in this forum;

I am thinking about buying my first kite which would be mostly used for great lakes kiting ( summer season)

We do have some open cell flysurfer kites 6 and 8 m2, but these are used only for winter snowboard/land kiting.

So, need your advice :bisou:

first water kite
thinking about LEI (less lines to deal with)
to be used mostly on great lakes
summer winds here.. mostly light to moderate
riders from 170 to 200 lb

what model/ size/ make should I be searching for???

T H A N K _ Y O U for your replies

P.S. have somebody in our area selling STARKITES.. any good???

Prince Edward/ Kingston mostly ( Lake Ontario).. but also Lake Simcoe.. Georgian Bay.. Lake Huron

I need some advice about kites and boards.... what to buy to have some fun this summer..
We have some smaller land kites.... but would like to buy used kites for summer...

I am thinking about LEI.. but have no idea.. what kite sizes?.. what boards to buy ???

We have never used kites on water.. just on frozen lakes and snowy fields...

I think.. LEI kites is the way to go... can't see myself to fight with the bridal system of our Flysurfer kites in the water :-(

Please, advise about the equipment we should be looking for.

some info found

For those, who might be searching for the same info as I was/am

found this website with some good info for beginners in regards to the kite and board sizing....
we like landboards.. but space is limited.. so shallow shore lines might be a good playground for summer

here is the link: kites and kite-boards sizing
