Another great Bash - Spring 2015

That was fun. Thank you Rich for putting another great event together and somehow convincing the town not to groom the beach. It's always fun to see every one and I'm glad I was able to attend. My ribs are still sore from my Sunday morning OBE, but nothing that Advil for a week or two won't cure. Konrad, that was the best Kielbasa ever! Mike, I want Sunny's recipe and congratulations on becoming a dad!!! Howard, it was nice meeting your wife. And Marc, good work finding a girlfriend that caught the kiting bug. Danny, I hope your shoulder is ok. Jim R, thanks for sending me the video of "how not to stop" my blokart. I can't wait to see you ALL in the FALL!

Weather was good, wind was low most day, but spirits were high.

Last day, Sunday, brought the goods with high wind that was steady and got the acceleration and adrenalin, and miles up a lot.

This kite was one star in low wind- ridden by Dave P:

Patrick C was getting all he could every day:

oh man, that first video I'm looking at the sand blowing down the beach, whoever is bugging is working his way diagonally upwind....I'm watching and already feeling a rush of excitement and waiting for the rider to get upwind then turn and lay the hammer down and come screaming downwind...and the video ends - man what a cliff hanger, i think I actually yelled Nooooo! when the video ended at the turn. You cruel bastard

Thank you to everyone that made this 'bash a great time. There might not have been as many people as in the past, and there may have been less wind, but it sure was fun (peanut pretzels excepted  ).

They worked on the top of the beach as well as the hard pack. Only got to check them out on the hard pack for a brief time and I loved the quickness. I can't wait to get an on shore or slightly less angle to really give them a go.

As always a great time was had. Always a blast hanging with my kiting brothers and sisters. Even though the wind was less than ideal. Looking forward to the fall. Hopefully some of our absentee brothers will return.
Glenn I'm glad you and Pat came down.

Thanks to every one for being so cool to Wendy aka Mrs.Cheezy. She was blown away at how helpful, friendly and considerate everyone was. I had to explain, that's how we do... once you put a kite in the air, you are now part of a worldwide family. She is determined to be riding by the fall bash.

This is the only pic I have from Sunday. A small group shot.

It was pleasure to see you all again ...... Good times as always... After frustrating Saturday , Sunday deliver another awesome session with my Gin Yeti 4.5m ...... and decision was made , I am not selling it...... Every time I ride this kite I am so happy , plus I was amazed that it tow me with my heavy MG buggy and tandem buggy with 300lbs passenger with no problem . I want to say sorry for ejecting Jaymz and BuggyDanny on aggressive power slide turns , I promise .... it will not happen again .
Now ..... Where is that drone video ?
