Racing 2007


Yes, there will be posted race times this year.

Due to overwhelming response to structure requests, we will fufill your every need by posting and then meeting at prescribed times.

Yes, we will also do our very best to have some circuit races, and for sure rag flapping races, of course, along with shot car racing, possibly revisit the table racing of yesteryear, and maybe some tandem racing if there is enough interest.

All of that said, it's the wind, you know, that dictates what we can do.

Please note: We that help make NABX happen, really want everyone to have a great time. To that end, we are always standing by to do what YOU want at a moments notice. If you can get some critical mass to do most anything, we will help you make it happen.

Volunteers, please note also, we will need your help this year with extra stuff we are doing, so if you can help, could you email myself or Claxton and let us know you are willing to work a few hours?

Meanwhile i should have the hotel code up later on the 24th. Sorry for the delay, there have been a few changes this year.

I will be in attendence at NABX 2007 at approximately 0900 hours every morning April 6th., 7th. and 8th. I need to be packed up and on my way back to Las Vegas every night no later than 2200 hours (my wife gets off work at 2300). What can I do to help:?:

I had an idea at the end of last years NABX. Right now it would be great to have a webpage that volunteers could sign-up for specific time slots for the whole week. Multiple people for time slots would make it easy, allow for people who don't show, allow potty breaks, and give the organizers time to (gasp) fly a kite.

Does anyone here know HTML enough to write (or design) a page with a table (days across the top, time down the side) for this, something that we could update? Or is this a bad idea?

I'm just thinking that I would be willing to volunteer a couple hours a day, and that lots of others would be willing to do the same, especially if it was known ahead of time exactly what time they would be needed.

A white board on site in the tent for a schedule of events might be a good idea as well. White boards are easy to update based on wind/weather info... Just throwing it out there...

Hey Guys,

I am on it.

I have a site I have been working on in bits for quite a while that I think may serve us. It has a built in Calender system. I should have that section done by tomorrow.

OK Guys,

I setup a agenda system for the whole event. People can place comments to signup to race or volunteer to help on the race. As well as track the agenda of social events, meetings and any other miscellaneous happenings.

It does require an admin to add the events though. I will setup user accounts for whoever is willing to help contribute events to the agenda. Please send me a P2P to get a logon.

As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.
