Peter Lynn Viper S 5.3m - SOLD!
I have a PL Viper S 5.3m sitting in my closet for about a month that I haven't bothered using. Time to say goodbye to it
I've literally only opened the plastic wrap on the kite to see how it looks. It's folded back into it's original state. (Never has been flown
outside). It comes complete like any other PL kite. I'm selling it for $325 including shipping within Canada/US only! Amazing kite
if you are into buggying or even just static flying.

That's complete nonsense. You must fly that kite before selling it. Great kite

The PL Viper S is an awesome kite... Its a killer buggy engine that is remarkably stable with killer upwind capability.
Good luck Ari... killer kite!
I'm going to take a nap now

I'd be all over that kite if I hadn't bought a camper. HAHA
The sound of it is just awesome! And it would fit right in with my quiver updating... (which never ends) lol

Hey guys, thoughts on this kite based on my post about landboarding? Seems built for speed, but I'll gladly take stability over lift (and I love love
love my twister, so seeing another PL has piqued my interest). How well does this kite handle gusts?

I had this very same kite. It handles completely different from a twister. It flies very far forward in the window. Great for upwind but will kill
your grunt in grass. I had to ride the brakes to keep it in the optimum part of the window. The twister you can just let her rip. This requires much
more active piloting when on high resistance surface. It was hard at first but it's great when you get it down. It still has plenty of lift by the
way. Not quite as fast through the window as a twister but plenty of lift. Great all around kite. Not my preference for buggy on grass but great kite.
It is a stable kite compared to others in same general class. It's the only fixed bridle I've flown that seems to produce much more power with brake
input. Closest thing to a depower than any fb I've flown. Also flies on a turbo bar like it was made for it.

Hello guys,
I was curious to find out how this viper s compares in terms of performance to the older reactor 2 that I've been with with this season. I've been
kiting on and off the last two years. However, I've been flying more reguarly this season and have been having a breakthrough year where eveything
seems to be really coming together. And so, i'm looking for a 5 meter kite similar in performance to the reactor 2. Thanks.

ssayre, that was a great review.
Matt, I have not flown the Reactor and Viper close enough back to back to render a good analysis. The Viper is going to be more user friendly than
the Reactor, since while the Viper benefits from proper brake tensions, the Reactor (esp. the RII) *requires* it.
Still not sure why the Viper was dropped; it had a good spot in the line-up with price and performance.
