Finally!
The rain has finally subsided here and I had a fairly decent day out at the local park. The winds were constant at 10mph which is weird for around
here. This was the first time I have flown this kite. Bought it about 4 months ago and it has just been hanging on my wall (I usually fly 15m or
larger). Really impressed by this 13m Bularoo. Not bad for a big girl (we are not supposedly meant to fly) LOL! nothing spectacular, just a ton of
fun. YAY!

It was nice for a change and the weather was awesome, except for being humid as all hell. LOL! I kinda wish I had brought a bigger kite but this
little 13m was awesome.:D

there so few woman that have caught the power kite bug on dry land? Seems there are more woman in kite boarding.

Did you just send the rain to Florida..
Happy to see you're under your umbrella. (Or kite) :D

Thanks. We had a good couple days but the rain and total lack of wind has reared it's ugly head again. LOL! I'm not really sure why there are not many
women into power kites. I'm the only one that I know of so far. I started back in the early 90's with stunt kites (trilby's) then I worked my way up
to finally getting an original Hawaiian team kite. I loved the pull! I ended up having an entire room full of different kites, even single liners. My
parents ended up buying me a 2.5 (i think) Quadrifoil and a Revolution for my Birthday one year. The Rev was fun but that foil was my go to. I loved
jumping with that thing. I even made a "kite buggy" out of old bikes and skateboard parts. Surprised that thing did not kill me. HAHA! Ever since then
I have been hooked. I'm sad I gave it up for a few years, but life happened. I have been trying to get my friends and the hubby involved with it. I
have a few friends that want to try but are scared of being carried off. They have been watching kitemare vids. The hubby has had no interest until
earlier today when I sat him down and showed him a buggy video. He said "Now that I can get into! Anything I can do sitting down..." LOL! SO I'm
hoping to get him out on a buggy or hooked into one of my kites and maybe...just maybe I can get him bit by the kite bug as well.
