First Flight
Took out my PL Hornet 3m yesterday for the first time. The wind was pretty light but I was anxious to try anyway. Previously I have only flown a 2
line stunt kite so this was a bit of a change. Next time out I think I need to adjust the brake line a bit. It seemed too tight. Either that or I
was holding the handle wrong.
Constructive criticisms welcome

index finger overtop the power lines...tilt the bottom of the handles forward to slacken the brake lines
dont judge the setup till the kite is powered up in at least 12mph

Thanks! There's 3 knots on the line from the handle for the brake lines. I had it on the one closest to the handle. I wasn't sure which one to use

i would have started furthest knot out....kite will fly on the 2 front lines then you can bring it back in if you have no brake control or it wont
land by putting on both brakes at the same time

Maiden flight. You did well. Starting out in low wind. Best thing you can do.
Second time, go out in not to strong winds and follow the advice above. Play a bit with options and find out what you like.
Good luck
