I can't imagine riding without a protector under the seat after riding with one.

Bob - what is this "protector" you are mentioning? Something rigid that goes under the seat perhaps? Something homemade or purchased aftermarket? I
shudder to think what a direct hit could do down there, and I'm not joking about the stones, rather the spinal trauma that is possible.

Yeah, it was the previous owners very first test ride in the Superbug, so he had it adjusted a little low, although personally I would have preferred
it that way. That dog leg rear axle can be rotated either way to lower or raise the ride height.
I had the pleasure of riding it in the park on Saturday. The front end was bobbing up and down over the rough ground, it was such a comfortable ride
compared to mine.

You know the rule Paul. When ever someone get's a new bug, we demand a picture from them seated in their bug somewhere in their house, lounge or
kitchen preferably. I just hope for your sake you don't live in a tower block with broken lifts.

I have a carbon plate made for the purpose on my buggy. It protects the seat from abrasion and dulls impacts with rocks or shells.

Thanks Bob! I figured this was a custom aftermarket mod. Sounds like a nice safety enhancement. To date I've limited my buggy journeys to athletic
fields so this is a non issue, but the issue has been a concerning one for me for rolling over rough terrain.

So, I went and picked up the beast this morning. The previous owner was an absolute gent and even gave me the spanners and socket to reassemble it,
what a guy!!
I got back home and of course HAD to have a ride in it, even though the wind was a bit on-off.
And man, what a ride, it is pure awesomeness, especially coming from a small buggy.
As predicted by RedSky I luffed the kite in my first few turns due to not being used to the bigger turning circle of the big bug, but a few timing
adjustments and I was OK after that. And now I already feel confident enough to really throw the kite into a downturn and power through the turn. It
had been raining so the grass was damp, and I did a few huge powerslides, ending up backwards at one point! The grin on my face is going to have to
be surgically removed!!!
This buggy has surpassed my expectations already, the build quality is fantastic and it's so comfortable. I can't wait to get this bad boy on a beach
where I'm sure it will really shine!!
The front end is an absolute engineering work of art...it's a leading link fork, with the wheel mounted on rubber dampers. It just soaks up the
bumps, for a really smooth ride.
So to the rule....
Well, I can barely fit the front end through the door, let alone assemble the whole bug in the house, it's a monster!!! So you'll have to make do
with a selfie of the front end on the kitchen table :D

Hahahaha yeah I couldn't believe how big these Eurotrax tyres are in the flesh!
One thing though...you know that famous line in Jaws about needing a bigger boat? Well, I think I'm gonna need a bigger kite
In the wind today I would have been borderline overpowered in the gusts (up to around 20mph) in my little buggy with the 6m Peak. But sitting in 57kg
of pure muscle bug it needs a bit more torque! I was looping that kite in 15-20mph winds, it would have plucked me off the seat of my little buggy if
I'd have done that!
Definitely gonna have eyes open for a bigger Peak!!

TOO COOL!!!! I'm with you on the design of the front end; it looks fantastic. I know what you mean about needing to adjust your flying/driving style
to a new (larger) turning radius. The exact same thing happened to me when I went from the PL Folding to BigFoot buggies. Not that a mere BigFoot
compares even a little bit to the work of art you now possess, but I was trying to track with you all the same. :P Really happy for you!
Beware, that new ride may be a "chick magnet"; could leave to trouble on the home front!! :o

The rear tyres are surprisingly light. The front end, however, weighs an absolute ton. I know this because I had to lift it onto the kitchen table.
The fork, swan neck and front wheel must weigh in at over 25kg!!

I was gutted for you Paul when you missed out on my T3 but some things are meant to be.
You sound delighted and I'm delighted for you. I like the Jaws reference. :D
Funny, I was watching clips of Jaws on YouTube over the past few days including that one. My favorite is this one. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9S41Kplsbs

I agree. I spent the last 3 years tripping over that lump in my garage. It weight a ton for sure but the weight contributes to the excellent dampening
effect. How did it feel when you took it for a spin, how was the fit ?

Dude, it felt awesome!!! Really smooth, crying out for a beach!!!
The fit is OK considering I'm a short arse compared with Glenn. It's not snug but I'm not floating around in it. I don't need to fiddle around with
thicker padding, it's fine as is!
Just need to source some bearing spacers, I noticed the rear wheels don't have spacers fitted. I started another post on that. Couldn't get the
front wheel off to see if that has a spacer, I need another 30mm spanner as the nut on the other end is turning.
All part of the learning curve!
