Wanted: 12m tube
how nice would it be to have a new to me kite waiting, when I get States side next Monday? An Ozone Catalyst would be my first choice, then probably a
Core Riot XR2, in the end I'm looking fora 4 line kite with a tight bladder to get me going in 10-20 knots @145lbs
Who' s got a 12m tube that's not getting flown?
Cheers

At 145 lbs you're going to be overpowered at 20 knots on 12m. Doable but overpowered.
I have a brand new Liquid Force NRG 12m listed for $850 if you're interested. It will do 10 knots easily, relaunch and go upwind better than the
Catalyst. Core XR is a better wing at double cost though. I love my 16m NRG LightBreeze, I loved my 8m NRG for its upwind and lift but needed "more
square" small kite to munch 30+ knot gusts better so I'm on 8m RPM for high wind now.

So I've got it down to two basically new kites.
2013 11m edge RTF $1100
or
LF 12m NRG
Are there any issues with the wingtip/leading edge pulleys on the NRG? Which one has more grunt? Better low end?

To the pulley question - the 2014 NRGs feature Ronstan sheavless pulleys, just one on each side of the LE. Wingtip bridles are direct without pulleys.
These pulleys never get stuck and ensure smooth turns since medium-high aspect ratio kites kind of ask for pulleys by design. That prevents the wing
from warping too much on turns and loops.

I have a 12m 2014 LF Envy that I was just about to list KO. Looking for an 11m 2014 North Rebel to replace it. Anyway, $500 KO, I'll handle shipping.
Send me a U2U if you're interested. If you happen to have a Rebel, I'd cover both shipping for a straight trade.

Time to upgrade to the NRG now. That was my move two years ago, no regrets. It's still my low wind wing. The gains are premium upwind and lofty jumps,
more bar pressure to feel that baby in the air too.
