Test Flying an Ozone Frenzy on a Slingshot Bar.

The Fifth line safety thread got me thinking about other alternatives for my Frenzy. I decided to try flying my 9m Frenzy on a new Slingshot Compstick bar/line set. It flew surprisingly well without any pigtails or special adjustments. The Compstick bar has some MAJOR depowering capabilities beyond what is normal for a Frenzy. Not surprising for a modern day LEI bar. The throw and trim is just huge compared to the factory bar the frenzy comes with. I had to have the trim strap fully out to get adequate tension on the rear lines for proper turning. I think some pigtails on the fronts or shortening the rears would serve it well. I took some footage of a short static session in really light wind. I think it was only 5-10mph. Such a nice clean setup compared to a fifth line. Front line flagout worked really good as well.

Looked like it worked great. My peak fls system always works fine and simple. Hopefully you will avoid some frustration with the new set up. Did you have the bar or did you buy new?

Already had the bar/lines from a couple slingshot LEI's that I have. Always nice to know things can be interchangeable if the need arises.
