planning for 2017 summer kite vacation

Planning to do a big trip somewhere summer 2017. I have some questions though. what are the best kiteboarding schools. I have heard alot of good things about 15 knots in puerto rico. I dont mind going to one that is closer to me. but i would like for it to be very good. my other question is which airlines have free bag check for sports equipment.

I made it to bonaire without bag fees with my 'golf bag' Awesome trip! Wind every day, beautiful people (most of whom speak english), great water (temp and clarity), great snorkeling/diving for days when I let my stuff dry.

For hauling gear for free, you won't do better than southwest. 2 free checked bags. Kite gear will travel rather nicely with a little planning. If you have perks on an airline you can probably fly any of them, and potentially just pay for the second bag or none at all. Finally, consider if you fly first class, bags are free -- and they often can even be overweight. No need for perks or to be anyone special. I add in this point because last time I flew, it was almost cost effective to simply fly first class for the free bags.
