i will say that this is one hell of a kite...it's the one that taught me to fly 4line...got me my 1st motion w/ a skateboard on asphalt ...1st learned
to fly ATB and bug...and now have taught 10 or so people to fly with...ive slammed this sucker into the ground so many times w/out incident that i
really feel bad for it...this wkend i started 4 new people and watched it go leading edge first 30x's
that batman looking thing is just something else

good story. It's great to be able to share and teach people. I've only flown a new 4m hornet and it was one of my favorite fb kites I've flown in my
gusty wind.
I too have only flown the 4m version but I thought it was a superb 4-line FB. Before flying the Hornet my traction kite experience had been limited
to Prisms and Tensors, fine kites to be sure, but just not a Hornet. I sold mine to a very happy new owner in recent weeks who absolutely loves it (T
in WI, who incidentally has the Hornet as his Avatar if that's any signal) so the fine tradition of Hornet lovers continues on down the line.
Hornet fan here to... When I first started flying I had a 3m Beamer V, superb kite for sure, but I used to fly regularly with Knkmanthey who also had
the same batman style 3m Hornet, and I can tell you I am pretty sure the Hornet had a bit more grunt than the Beamer... very NICE kite fo sho
