Need technical info on Matrixx 1(manual/data sheet)

Anyone can give me the link to the manual and data sheet of 2013 Matrixx (9m)........I got a nice one and would like to learn more about it like line trimming and adjustment......like the front lines has two knots, what's the other knot for farther to the bar?.....the default setting is the one closest to the bar......the HQ site has no download info on Matrixx 1.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Kiteflyer,

Yes, I've noticed HQ does not have a pdf for the Matrixx. You can download the Matrixx Manual here:

http://www.coloradokitesports.com/downloads.html

You will probably want to keep the front lines attached to knots closest to the bar. The Matrixx tends to fly better with a little trim pulled in (especially when you are getting used to the kite), and that is effectively what these knots are doing.

If you find the kite moving slowly or back-stalling it means you are choking the kite and either need to push the bar forward or pull more trim in. The 9m is a super fun kite though - hope you enjoy it!

This video may provide some help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qucThPhfWlc

I'd leave the center (front) lines at the end knot for a new kite with fresh lines. Move the line back to the knots closer to the bar when your lines have aged and stretched a bit. The goal is to keep your line lengths (front vs. back) close to the same length.
