Lightning - bad, bad. I heard, kite lines conduct electricity. And being one of the tallest things out there, it's a good lightning attractor too...

That's impressive. I've never had a kite dream. :D Seriously - good for you and her! If she knows (or wants to learn) how to sew you could really get her going down the path to the dark side.

Mood: Get in my buggy!

Super story abkayak! :thumbup::thumbup:

Years ago I had a Prism P-3 set up on two lines going to those padded loops that you wear sort of like ski pole straps. I had my son using it and he got dragged across quite a bit of grass on his belly! We had a good laugh about it (laughing with, not at). Closest I ever got to introducing a family member to power kiting. Hope springs eternal; someday I'll spread the love as you were able to do. Congratulations! :cool:

I have to admit I've had a kite dream or two..... :P

Cool man, when you see lightening it is a definitive point that indicates without any doubt you have reached an ALL STOP situation, hope same was conveyed to the niece.

She'd be much safer at WW, than say.... at Woodstock. Keeps her away from the acid Shannon here was on..

Hope you guys will buggy together soon on you Long I. turf.

I hope to winter kite skate w friends kids(adopted niece and nephew-15 and 13 yrs old ..) in coming Winters. They are great skiers. Their interest in kiting is unknown yet..
