I know...I just had so much fun with the SA1 last season on the frozen lake that I talked myself into the SA2.

I thaught the 17m SA1 was perfect  I only wanted a bit more depower. With a 1.5 mod, you should be set.

awesome... yeah the depowerness is the only thing that bothers me about the 17m! It absolutely starts destroying me when the wind gets above 13mph!!!! I think i shall send it over to powerzone soon :)

It would be very naughty of me to fork out WELL over 2000$ to get a speed 2 :) hehe

Hey DOM.... start talking yourself into and FDS for the SA 1.5 as well....HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED !

the FLS and the old Roto-Leash are far inferior to the FDS. gives you even more confidence.

Send that 17m over!

well... the SilverArrow 17m Speed 1.5 MOD enabled another one of the funnest sessions ever this past weekend.

the wind dropped just below 10knots so the SilverArrow came out.... ZERO pre-inflate, a perfect side window-launch, and i was off smiling

cruising, jumping, upwind, etc.... in 8-10knots for 2 hrs on a Spleene 134.

these kites are unbelievable.

it is an awesome experience to jump and hear pure silence. can't hear the wind (there is none), can't hear the water (its nearly calm), just quietly float for a while....wow. its enchanting.

thanks DOMINDO... for the fun session, i get dibbs on this kite should you sell.

I finally got a chance to use the 19m Silverarrow 2 on snow today

Winds were only about 10 mph with around 5" of snow, but I had plenty of power to get in some decent runs and jumps (long/floaty).

Here are a few pics I took while skiing.

OK - this is going to sound crazy.

The winds today were 5 - 6 mph with small gusts to maybe 8mph. Frozen lake with about 2" of crusty snow on top.

My top speed was 26.9 mph! It just doesn't seem possible...

Park and ride seemed to build more speed than working the kite - it just kept picking up speed.

Congrats, and not hard to believe. Basically you have a 19m depowered race kite, more or less. OK John, go easy on me! This summer, a directional 6'4 board should get you going in just about the same winds-- maybe a tad bit more but not much! So a trip to the Rockies before winter is up?

yes I was, referring to the SA2 as a depowered race kite. With constant acceleration it seems to be.

so far I have tested in my short Kitesurfer carreer the following Flysurfer kites in the order:

Speed1 13m (demo)
Pyscho3 10m (demo & current onwer)
Psycho3 6m (demo)
Pulse1 7m (previous owner)
Pulse1 10m (previous owner)
Cool 4m (demo)
Speed2 15m (demo)
SA2 15m (current onwer)
Speed2 10m (demo)
Speed2 8m (demo)

The only one that disapointed me was the Cool 4m.

The most difficult one to handle was the Speed2 8m. Does not like gust and too fast in high winds.

I would not hesitate buying another FS without trying if reviews are good.

I agree Buzz - The small Speed 2s are quick

A slight adjustment to the mixer really helped the stability on my 8m Speed 2. It's a rocket on the snow :D

So far, I have flown (Flysurfer):

7m, 13m Pulse 1
8m Pulse 2
8m, 10m, 13m, 17m Psycho IIIs
8m, 15m, 19m Speed 2s
17m Speed 1
