Pre-event in the desert

I would like to know what plans people are making for the pre-event. Is Elmers to crazy for weekends now or is anyone planning on starting out there. If Elmers is off limits then what about Superior for the pre-event. Would be nice to know when people will start arriving. I plan on driving in and camping but I do not want to be camping by myself. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks
Susan

hey susan
you can follow us around for the pre event.
you know. the guys that are going on that camping trip that corey is putting together to hit up a diff lake bed everyday for 4 days. i don`t think he`d mind it. but we are paying for the camping trip. for food, drink, etc. so i think you should bring your own food, drink and what not.

anybody free march 4th - 9th? I'm up for anywhere. Was actually thinking of hitting up Red Lake as I have family in Kingman. Though to be honest my dry lake bed experience is limited to Eldorado Valley Dry Lake Bed outside of Boulder City so any dry lake bed will be new and fun for me.

If you think it\'s hard explaining HOW something works, try explaining WHY it doesn\'t work.

Glenn has been smokin' that wacky-t'backy again.
His imagination is working overtime.
I don't remember any "4 lakes in 4 days" promises being made.

Besides we're only going out for 4 days and three nights and two of those days must include travel-time.

Here's the proposed schedule for the Safari:
We plan on heading to Elmer's on Friday - Early afternoon if airport arrival times co-operate.
Saturday and Saturday night there, weather permitting.
Sunday presents an opportunity.
We might stay and play at Elmer's or we might choose to head to Superior or even Silurian, depending on what Mother Nature has for us.

While we are planning to BE back at Ivanpah and hence Vegas on Monday evening, how we eventually GET there (hitting any available lake beds) remains to be seen.

I'm not trying to be coy...
But schedules (when we're talking about wind sports) are for folks needing to see things written on paper.

We have an plan, a good plan...

"It's night-time, we're wearing sunglasses and we're almost out-of-gas."
"Cool. Hit it."

"Not all who wander are lost"

Safen Up! Buggy On!

"Often wrong... Never in doubt"
