Singing Spectra?
I've noticed that spectra line I have (specta labled at least) seems to start to sing in a high pitched tone when the wind gets strong. Is this
normal? Something to worry about? Can you use this fact to differentiate between spectra and other types of line (e.g. dacron?)

personally I always liked it when my lines started singing (especially the Q-power) because that's when i knew I was going faster - and it also makes
people think you are going fast when you go by and they are whistling. Usually get the singing when using thinner line stretched nice and tight and
traveling fast.
Nothing to worry about

I know a guy who sings back. Now He's something to worry about.
I love hearing my lines start singing. Usually it means I have entered the sweet spot for my kite. IE: If I send it I'm going to get air!

Singing lines mean ure hitting the perfect equilibrium between your kite size versus wind speed versus the universe. Its really the wind gods singing
, not your lines and and they are well pleased !

It's the part in the kite opera where the kites says "I'm fully lit" some while before the fat lady chimes in.
