Subway
I travel around for work but mainly work in a large urban and suburban areas. Whenever I find myself in rural areas I'll take the opportunity to get a
sandwich at subway. More meat, better service, better overall sandwich construction. I look around at the locals eating and think they probably don't
even realize. :P

I haven't stepped foot in a Subway since they raised their prices and got rid of $5 footlongs.. They completely lost an almost daily customer..

I ate at Subway once and all I can say is NEVER again!
The bread was so dry it would fall apart and tasted like it had been lying there for a week before they warmed it up. The tiny bit of filling in it
was almost equally dry and I really struggled to get the thing down my throat, it was so bad I almost chocked on it!:o
I filled my cup with sprite only to find out the machine had actually put out water!? Total rip-off, too. I paid like 12 euros for a #@%$#!ty
sandwich and "sprite". Seriously the only positive thing I noticed was that the chicken
seemed to be of good quality.

Maybe they don't do it right when you pay with Euros. The bread is baked there daily and is always awesome here.

Don't get them in Japan.
There's one store I used to go to, two or three times a week when I was a school teacher. Got to know the ladies, so I get epic stuffed sandwiches.
When we go to the other 2 stores in this whole state, we get EXACTLY the prescribed amount and NO MORE. Ask for extras tomato, say, and you get a
whole extra slice. Keep asking for more and they fall back on the rule book.
One of the really sucky things about this country is the inability to use their own brain.
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I find Jimmy Johns pretty bland, but the right side of the menu is ok and better than the left. The hot peppers make it palatable.

I can't agree more. Firehouse blows away subway.
BUT DiBellas is twice as good as firehouse. Absolutely phenomenal sandwiches.

Club on a sub! Firehouse is THE BEST sub you can get anywhere. I couldn't agree more. That being said, I do frequent Subway as a budget option, and
because since moving to Chicago, I had a rude awakening when I found out that they do not have Firehouse subs here. Just JJ's and Subway. Potbelly is
decent, better than both JJ's and Subway, but a little pricey.

Here in Aiken, SC area, aka the"CSRA" we have Substation ll's. All sandwiches are way overstuffed.
I get the "scrap" sandwich. All meats, ends and pieces. Yummy good. Always exciting and tasty too.

Bobby, look up Capriotti's in Vegas. We used to have one here and there isn't a better sandwich. The BOB is turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce!

I'm a frequent visitor at Capriottis. We like the Bobbie and the hot Italian sandwiches. Probably better than all mentioned here that I've tried. Love
firehouse subs as well.
