great size, real globe trotter unit there folks, still considerable life there.

way better than some of my daily junk!

canopy and bridle (with vents!) on this series is tough, simple and short!

sesssioned with same unit today , i run super negative trim and, as of yet, never had flyover collaspe out of about 1000+hours.

trimmed out this kite will do light air very nicely. if you can get things moving, about 8mph will feed this unit to cruise smooth terrain

the triple depower thing has crazy range

Thanks Phree!
What's super negative trim? You tighten up the c's and b's on the mixer so the kite is less cambered? I ride with factory settings, b's no more than 1/4" looser for slightly more camber curvature for more low end at the expense of speed and upwind performance. But I prefer my wind on the lower smoother end rather than the higher stormier gusty adventure adrenaline pumping winds😚

I'm trying selling some gear, as important anniversary coming up .... And I deserve another wonderful 25yrs:D
So plenty of time for newer kites later!!

Will consider all offers.

For me this kite works on water 15-20 knots on twin tip cruising. 10 knots up for land use. For you freestyling and big air enthusiasts, this kite loves the top end winds!

- trim = shortened fronts, currently -100mm , i think you can go more. loosing max power for more speed less drag
wing stays fuller in span eariler and holds longer in bar travel action. like an unhooked setting but with most of depower in full bar extension. bar pressure is pretty heavy for FS but i like the feel and gets me out in light air for land board rides with just enough fun pop

fuller window, lighter air performance is better at a loss of being somewhat more sensitive in higher winds like 20knts+ and lossing bottom 1/3 of 3X depower.

Phree, Hmm rather than shortening the a's, presumably by undoing the a lines from the mixer and re attaching up further; wouldn't loosening up the b's and c's at the mixer with the factory Flysurfer adjustable beads, accomplish the same result?

IF! the mixer is still good its left alone. short A's really yields a slow unresponsive unit NOT what you want. i really want the mixer action the same , once its ALL evened up, i try to keep it that way. once the back half of the mixer is stretched and blow out it will only draw in so much, then you are into reworking whole mixer. keeping it square and fresh is nice !

(after heavy use) the adjustment above trim is a good point to shorten but once it gets all the way in(like all my stuff)you go beyond to keep canopy OPENED up completely for light air power . once i add New line set i generally reset back to factory and it great for solid air but for low wind i like the shortened set up

i guess it would be considered a unhooked negative trimmed set up. so the unhooked setting has even less drag and will fly fast in lighter air. so when i use them in powered air i let the trim out to keep unhooked zero point in same spot.
