MBS Pro 95 Retaliation
Hi Guys. I have been using a Hornet 2m static for quite awhile now and decided to get a land board. I know the 2m is underpowered and 5m is on the
soon to buy list. My question is. Is the MBS Pro 95 Retaliation board I just ordered too heavy for land boarding? I also plan to use it so my dog can
pull me.
I'm 6ft and 225 and figured the board would be able to handle more weight than the Core Series. Any advise?

Thanks. I have a two year old Airedale in the 70 pound range but won't tire out easy. I'll be too heavy for him but I know a few dogs that I can
borrow that need a good workout lol.
I wasn't sure on the board, since I'm so new. Just figured with the extra suspension it would hold up better. I got a brake kit for it but without
disc brakes I don't see the V5 setup being too effective. Do you guys even bother with brakes or ditch them?

I don't have much landboard experience but I would recommend longboard and paved paths for the dog. That's plenty of dog to get you moving fast.
Landboard and dog wouldn't work on anything but hardpack sand or asphalt. I skateboard with my 55 lb dog almost nightly. She's 11 so she only pulls
me on level or slight downhill. I don't make her work hard and it's a combination of her pulling and me pushing. She loves the heck out of it and
gets excited every time she sees the board. Also, I like longboard because you don't have foot straps in your way and you can push and foot brake
(with enough experience) when you need to. Females work better. My male lab stops at every pole or tree to pee. My female dog just trucks along
like she's on rails.

That's a good point. I'm lucky Chewie dosent need to peeMail much. He's a hunting line instead of a show line so he's pretty focused and works hard. I
used to Longboards with him but there's so many rocks on the road by my house it wasn't fun.
Although, I'm excited to try the board out in Moab next month. I got a feeling it's going to hurt lol.

We don't use brakes.
You should really consider going to a depower kite if you can afford to. It will mean buying a harness as well.
How did you decide on a 5m Fixed Bridle? What is your common wind speed?
I wonder if there is anyplace to kite a Moab?

Moab must be kinda hard..helmet and pads even if you don't anticipate pain...avoid it
i agree on the longboard for the dog...My dogs pee every 45min 24/7 jusayin
Brakes are for downhill not kites
