I'm not ready to give up my small FBs, but for high-wind days at home, I'm gonna be depending on a 3m depower to help me with the inland crap I
usually get here.
Rian (rdavis) has a 2.3m Core available - small, with lots of performance, and quite stable.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!
Howard - used to be KC67
Fly: A quiver of Lynx' and Cores (did someone say "Pansh"?), a couple o' Arcs, and a Rev to remind me about control
Ride: PL XR+
Where: 43.857899, -78.941661 and 38.970951, -74.828922

I saw that 2.3m Core. It somewhat interests me but doesn't seem to be optimal for static flying in 20-25mph winds.
Seems more suited for buggying?
I'll consider a Rage 2.5m if anyone has one. But it might just have too much overlap with the 3.5m I have.

Small size differences In smallish kites can make a huge difference in power relative to size. For example the 3.5 is 40% larger than a 2.5. That's
the same difference in a 5m and 7m if you were talking larger sizes. That's a pretty big difference.

From the videos I have seen of the 2.5, didn't seem much different compared to the 3.5m. Guess it's a matter of experience and actually flying the
kite.
I'm not looking so much for power; rather speed through the window. 1.8 seems to be the quickest considering it's the smallest. They seem to rarely
show up though.

Of coarse they rarely show up. It's the size everyone loves to hate. Once your experienced you never fly it. But anytime anyone wants to learn or
experience power kiting. BAM! It's always the first one out of the bag. I know it's that way with my 1.5 Alpha. It's fun to static fly and if anyone
wants to experience power kites it's the one I always turn to. It's not my favorite. Nor does it get flown often. But it's probably the one kite I'd
never sell. Not trying to ruin your chances just calling it like it's is. Good luck in your search!

Two ways to make power... One is by sheer size ,grab enough air and it's moving ,slowly and with a lot of low end grunt. Or,by being fast trough the
window. You work a small kite and make it fly fast thru the window, the result is speed. Here is me working a 1.5m PKD Buster Soulfly . https://vimeo.com/163198317
This might have a lot to do with why everyone hangs on to them as well. Great starter kites and baddass expert kites too!
