A great day to buggy

Bugged at 2 locations today. My wife took a little video on her phone at the park and I took some video at a different location. 2 sessions 2 locations. Not a bad day. Someone had once asked for some video of launch and land with the hotwire so I was able to get a little bit today.

Also met another guy at the park with his family and he had just got a new 3.3 sting. I was able to help them out with the basics and flew the sting. What a great kite! Very fun to fly a 4 line fixed bridle again. I didn't want to give it up.

Thanks guys. Spencer, I hadn't had the buggy out for over a month or 2. Same with the skateboards. I've been too busy myself. Lately, the only opportunity I have are Sundays and it's been a long while since I've had decent wind and no rain on a Sunday.

Nice on Big Daddy. Agree, that is a great looking new field. Nice find! Hard to tell just from the video, but it looked as if you might have been able to continue up the grass hill and make your runs 3-D.

Looks like an ideal field for a navigating under a large NPW...

I've been at that location before and I did ride up the hill yesterday. My wife happened to be at the park walking the same time I was there and took some phone video but didn't catch the hill riding. We drove separate because she sometimes wants to leave before me. :P

Hill riding is a blast and I should have been utilizing it more. The only problem is people on the top or blind side. I never know when there could be a kid near the top that I can't see so I'm cautious when it's busy like yesterday. There is a playground on the blind side of the hill that kids walk up to watch.

Soccer is finally over here, but the mega playgrounds behind the fields are loaded with kids on the weekends. They always migrate onto the fields. Pretty much stuck with fall/winter riding there. Sadly it's always a NW in the winter.

The cool thing about hill riding in a buggy if the layout is conducive for it is that it starts to get a touch like what we can pull off as snowkiters. It is a lot of fun to get towed uphill on skis and then fly back down while still handling the kite. Most definitely a walk and chew gum event at times!
