Ya, I think they are going to be a sweet kite. I tend to be a foil guy, but things like large large diameter intake valves actually make setup pretty
quick. And the added stability of an LEI can be nice in certain situations. There are also certain lake spots around here that have a lot of sage
and other things for foil kite lines to get tangled in, which make an inflatable kite a better choice when I go there.

Soliver, ya that riding spot is awesome, the only problem is it sits right at the feet of a 1500ft mountain range so the winds tend to be really
fluky. I've kited in a 360 degree circle there - multiple times and not because I'm an awesome kiter. With that said, the 7m was rock solid the
entire time.

Having spent some time on them, they do feel like they have more power than the original. Yesterday I had the 12m out for quite a while and it felt
lighter with more lift and float. They recommend the 55cm bar for the 12m; I've been using the 49cm bar and seems just fine for me.
Depending on what you're used to riding, I think the 9m would be a good fit. I would consider them more of a free-ride although there are a lot of
customization/adjustment options so you can set it up better for freestyle or wave riding if you like.

lol. What can you do. The blue 7m is prob my favorite color.
Been talking with some other folks that have had a chance to ride the new kites. The consensus seems to be:
- Much improvement overall
- Turns faster and seem to have a lighter feel that the original
- More lift and hangtime.
- Better construction
- New inflation system and One bar are welcome improvements.

Any chance of you sharing in a bit more detail where that spot is? Going up to visit my parents just north of you in a couple weeks and been debating
taking the buggy (their property doesn't work well for it, limits me to my board). Those kite looks awesome, but current budget puts them out of my
price range for a while.
How are they vs your Montana in terms of usage in the buggy?
Hey volock! The field in the video is the Lacrosse fields at the Air Force Academy. PM me if you need more info. I've kited there both winter and
summer, and never had issues with access. Just make sure you have a helmet and be respectful of anyone else using the field. I'll reiterate that the
winds there tend to be very fickle. Best wind direction is from the ESE.
PM or text me when you are up here, and maybe we could hook up and go out together. I used to work there so know the base pretty well, and would be
more than happy to let you demo the newer kite models if you'd like to try them just for fun.
As far as the Ignition2 vs the Montana - I'd need to get some more time on the ignitions before I make any definitive statements. The new Ignition is
starting feel more like what I'm used to on foils - lighter bar pressure, good lift and hangtime - but with the quicker turn rate of an LEI and better
stability in gusts. Probably the biggest advantage for buggying is that the Ignition comes in smaller sizes. The smallest Montana is 8m, which can
quickly become too much kite on a buggy with any significant wind.

I will say that the Ignition was some of the most fun I had buggying for a while. Even in fairly nasty wind conditions it was rock solid and never
felt unsafe. The 7m is really quick and I found myself really liking the bar-stopper feature to trim the kite bar throw for cruising.
